Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ6
Panasonic introduces the Lumix DMC-TZ6 as the latest addition to it’s highly acclaimed TZ series. The DMC-TZ6 is the new improved version of the hugely popular DMC-TZ5 digital camera, which was one of the bestselling models of 2008. The TZ6 adds a number of new features which takes your digital photography to a new level, allowing you to reach new levels of sharpness and brightness on your favourite snaps. Panasonic’s TZ series comes with a remarkable 12x optical zoom in a compact, stylish body as well as featuring a 25mm ultra wide angle lens for wide angle shooting. The Lumix DMC-TZ6 comes with a 2.7-inch LCD screen which has a total of 230,000 dots for high resolution. It features the Intelligent LCD function. The Auto Power LCD function increases the backlight brightness in 11 steps according to the ambient light intensity. At the highest of these 11 steps, the LCD backlight becomes approx. 1.4 times brighter than normal. This makes both shooting and viewing photos easier and more convenient.
The new range of TZ cameras come with a LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens which packs 12x optical zoom into a compact body. You can now shoot everything from sweeping vistas at the 25mm wide-angle setting to dynamic 300mm telephoto shots with this extremely versatile photographic camera. What’s more, the exquisite rendering ability of the lens’s system allows you to capture even the subtle nuances of the sights and scenes in your travels.
iA mode activates six detection and correction functions – MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) to compensate hand-shake, Intelligent ISO Control to detect subject movement, Face Detection AF/AE to focus on faces in the frame and remove unwanted red-eye, Intelligent Scene Selector to select the optimal scene mode automatically, Intelligent Exposure to correct the brightness level, and AF Tracking to continually track a moving subject and keep it in focus.
